Dicentra 'Valentine'
Common name: Old fashioned Bleeding heart 'Valentine'
Valentine is a new twist to the old fashioned favorite 'Spectabilis'.
Bright red with a white tip heart shaped flowers bloom early spring until early summer.
The flowers are great in fresh bouquets.
The plant usually goes dormant in summer, so planting large
leafed hostas by it will help fill in the gaps.
