The vibrant new growth has shades of deep purple, red, orange, and chartreuse.
In early spring bright chartreuse yellow flowers seem to literally glow on the plant.
In midsummer, the foliage takes on a deep burgundy color and in fall it changes to rich red.
Makes a great addition to the rock garden. Works well for a front-of-the-border planting.
Deer resistant. Salt and drought tolerant.
