Common name: Rose mallow 'Summer Paradise'
In midsummer huge 7-8" raspberry pink flowers emerge and contrast nicely with the green foliage.
Blooms midsummer until early fall.
It is slow to emerge in spring so be patient. It may not pop out of the ground until June.
Pinch the shoots of young plants in early summer to encourage
branching and more flower stalks to form.
Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
Use in place of a shrub in the landscape.
