Hibiscus 'Perfect Storm' (Summerific collection)
Common name: Rose mallow 'Perfect Storm'
Huge 7-8" flowers bloom in mid-summer until early fall.
The flowers are bright white with a red-eye and have pink-edged petals.
The near-black foliage compliments nicely with the white flowers.
After flowering, it forms bright green calyxes and really shows off against the foliage.
It is slow to emerge in spring so be patient. It may not pop out of the ground until June.
Use as a main focal point in the garden or use in mass plantings for a colorful show.
Pinch the shoots of young plants in early summer to encourage
branching and more flower stalks to form.
Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.
Height: 3'
Spread: 4.5-5'
