This deciduous shrub has dark green glossy foliage.
In late spring greenish-white flowers appear which turn into vibrant red berries in late fall.
In order for it have these showy berries you will need to plant a male variety such as Jim Dandy near it.
It will perform its best in full sun to part, in well drained acidic soil.
A great choice for hedges.
