Common name: Fern-Japanese Painted 'Godzilla'

Also known as the Giant Japanese painted fern, this fern makes quite a show in the shade garden!

Massive clumps of silvery fronds with green highlights and purple stems make this plant a wow factor.

It is happiest in moist, loamy, and slightly acidic soils.

If dividing is needed, do so in spring.
