Clematis-'The President'

The President is one of the best repeat bloomers out there.

From late spring to mid-summer and then once again in early fall, violet-blue 7" flowers explode over this vine.

This clematis blooms first on old wood and then again on new; prune lightly in early spring to shape and remove weak growth and then prune after bloom if desired.

Make sure to have shade at its roots.
