Eupatorium Chocolate
Common names: Joe Pye Weed, Chocolate Snakeroot
This plant has a nice mounded shape that starts out with purplish foliage and eventually turns a deeper green in color.
In late summer until mid-fall, clusters of white flowers cover the plant.
Striking when planted by chartreuse leaved plants.
Makes a great cut flower. It is deer resistant. Attracts butterflies.
