Cimicifuga ramosa 'Hillside Black Beauty'

Common name: Black snakeroot, Bugbane

Dark purple lacy foliage with white bottlebrush flowers in late summer.

A great plant for a focal point in the shade garden.

New growth may tend to be green but will quickly turn a darker color.

The 12" white flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies.
