Hydrangea Pop Star® features flower heads of a unique lace-cap appearance.
The flowers range from vivid pink to deep purple, depending on soil pH levels, with more pink hues achievable by increasing alkaline content and more blue or purple hues achievable through increased acidity.
Flowers bloom on both old and new growth and require minimal pruning.
If pruning is desired it should be done before August 1st in order to preserve next year's flowers.
The flowers are ideal for both fresh and dried floral arrangements.
Its short compact shape makes it a great choice for containers and low borders.
