Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron'
Common name: Japanese blood grass, Cogon grass
The lush green foliage has bright red tips.
As the season progresses the blades turn a deep bright red!
It can be used as a great focal point in the garden.
Makes an excellent thriller plant for containers.
Interesting note: This grass rarely flowers. If you see any foliage throughout the growing season that has no red pigment to it, remove it to prevent the plant from turning all green.
Deer and rabbit resistant.
