Astilbe chinensis 'Pumila'
Common name: Chinese astilbe 'Pumila'
A nice shorter astilbe that can be used as a woodland ground cover.
Lilac fragrant fuzzy plumes appear in late-summer through mid-fall.
Makes a great cut and dried flower.
Looks stunning when planted in masses.
Works great in containers.
Although astilbes are usually easy to grow they do require
good drainage and lots of water especially if they are in more sun.
Exposure: Part shade
