Unique chocolate-marron foliage contrasts nicely with its pink plumes.

The fluffy pink flowers bloom in mid-to-late summer.

Great in containers. Deer Resistant. Attracts butterflies.

Although astilbes are usually easy to grow they do require good drainage and lots of water especially if they are in more sun.
