Papaver orientalis 'Prince of Orange'
Common name: Oriental Poppy
In spring to early summer huge 4 to 5" bright orange flowers bloom.
The flowers last for weeks and will be a true show stopper for the garden.
A great choice for cottage-themed gardens.
They perform their best in full sun and well-drained soil.
Dividing these plants is best in late summer and fall.
Plant something near them as they do go dormant after flowering.
Great cut flowers! Deer and rabbit resistance.
