Baptisia 'Grape Taffy'
Common name: false indigo hybrid
A nice smaller cultivar than others.
The red-purple flowers form in summer and last for weeks.
The flowers contrast nicely with the lush green foliage.
After the flowers have faded they form unique seed pods that add ornamental interest.
It is deer resistant and attracts butterflies.
