Hosta 'Great Expectations'
Common name: Plantain lily
This hosta truly lives up to its name!
The thick puckered foliage has blue-green margins with an ever-changing center.
The center color starts out chartreuse then turns a bright yellow which eventually turns to white.
In mid-summer, beautiful white flowers bloom above the bold colored foliage.
For the best color, plant where it will receive morning sun and afternoon shade.
Makes a great focal point. Great in containers! Perfect for edging a walkway.
