Miscanthus sinensis 'Pupurescens'
Common name: Flame grass
This flame grass has spectacular fall color.
The foliage starts out emerald green and throughout the summer shades of red, burgundy, and orange begin to appear throughout it, hence its name 'Flame Grass'.
Pinkish plumes appear in mid-summer and turn a brilliant silver in fall.
Use this plant for mass plantings, screening, focal points, and containers.
