The red tart fruit ripens in late June or early July.
It is excellent for preserves and pies.
The fruit is firm and juicy. Vigorous and highly productive.
Birds love the fruit. To deter them use Nylon or cheesecloth netting draped over the trees as the fruits begin to ripen.
With protective netting, you can ensure a plentiful harvest.
