Calamagrostis 'Brachythicha'
Common name: Northern Korean Feather Reed Grass
This ornamental grass has a nice upright arching habit making it a perfect focal point for the garden.
The glossy green leaves are 1/2" wide.
In late summer, showy reddish-purple plumes form and turn to greenish tan, making quite the show.
The plumes are great for dried flower arrangements.
Once roots are established, it is quite, drought-tolerant.
Beautiful as an accent plant.
Clump-forming.
