Deep, dark red fruit 1" in diameter matures in late summer.
The fruit is excellent for baking and fresh eating.
It is much sweeter than other sour cherries.
Birds love the fruit. To deter them use Nylon or cheesecloth netting
draped over the trees as the fruits begin to ripen.
